It’s been awhile since I’ve written one of these summaries up because they were getting boring, tedious and long – so I’ve decided to get them going again but make them simpler to absorb and create.

I saw this style of beer on an Austin brewery’s instagram account. It looked delicious so I tried to make it during the late summer weeks of 2021. My goal was to showcase Marris Otter in a low abv beer with a nice dry finish. I made a good beer, but showcased the hops more than the malt and so it wasn’t the beer I’d hoped to make.

What would I do differently if I make this beer again?
* My water chemistry was all wrong for this beer. Next time I will go a little heavier on the chloride and lighter on the sulfate.
